In October of 2010, we signed a five year software licensing and integration agreement with Cisco Systems, Inc. covering the licensing and integration of our Encompass RPC product suite into Cisco's Connected Justice product portfolio. This agreement represents a partnership between two industry leaders; Cisco in networking, video, teleconferencing and hardware; and VIQ in digital media capture and management.
Cisco's Connected Justice solution provides a connected multimedia recording solution that allows large-scale federal or state justice agencies to be managed efficiently by fewer resources, addressing reduced budgets and headcount. Connected Justice combines products, technologies and services that work together to create a single integrated system that decreases operational costs and increases productivity. Through telepresence video, the system can bring remote participants into the courtroom for a face-to-face experience.
