| Norman Inkster, Chairman
Recognized as an expert in national and international law enforcement and forensic investigations, Norman Inkster launched the Inkster Group providing investigative, security and law reform services to domestic and foreign governments and international financial institutions. The Inkster Group joined with Navigant Consulting Inc. in 2005. Immediately prior to starting the Inkster Group, Mr. Inkster was the Global Managing Partner for the international forensics practice of a major accounting firm. |
As Commissioner of the RCMP from 1987 to 1994, Norman Inkster managed all aspects of Canada's largest police force with approximately 21,000 employees and a $1.7 billion budget. Mr. Inkster also held the position of President of Interpol from 1992 to 1994. Over his distinguished career, Mr. Inkster supervised investigations into a broad range of activities including allegations of kickbacks, theft, fraud, extortion and embezzlement. Mr. Inkster has directed efficiency reviews of major law enforcement agencies, as well as business recovery planning and security reviews for international organizations. He has acted as Special Adviser to the Auditor General of Canada and following the events of September 11, 2001, was appointed Special Adviser on matters of security by the Government of Ontario. An Officer of the Order of Canada, Mr. Inkster is a member of the Canadian and International Associations of Chiefs of Police, Honourary Chief of the Blackfoot Tribe and Honourary Member of the Bear Clan of the Cree Nation. Mr. Inkster has also been appointed to the Security Advisory Board of Unisys Corporation.
David Outhwaite
Mr. Outhwaite serves as President and CEO of VIQ Solutions Inc. Mr. Outhwaite has held executive management positions with CryptoLogic, Informix Software Canada, Sybase Canada, Control Data Systems and Philips Information Systems. He has had an extensive career managing growth technology companies employing several hundred people and has led expansions in South American, European and Pacific markets. Mr. Outhwaite has participated in numerous ISO certifications and has acted as Compliance Officer for several public companies.
John G. Haag
John Haag is a Charted Accountant with in-depth expertise in international tax planning for public and private corporations with a focus on global tax minimization. Mr. Haag specializes in strategic planning for acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations, including structuring ownership of entities, capital and intellectual property, and risk management. Mr. Haag most recently worked at Ernst & Young LLP as a Senior Consultant, Taxation and Advisory Services. He also serves as a Special Advisor, Tax Policy and International Tax Treaty Negotiations for the Barbados Ministry of Trade and Economic Development.
George Kempff
George Kempff is a Certified Management Accountant with an established record of implementing/upgrading financial systems in fast growth companies and business expansion in the international manufacturing sector. Most recently, Mr. Kempff served as Vice President – Finance, for Stuart Energy Systems Corporation prior to and during their acquisition by Hydrogenics Corporation. Mr. Kempff has gained valuable corporate accounting and control experience with “best-practice” companies such as Bell Canada and Levi Strauss.
John C. McLeod
John McLeod has more than 25 years experience with emerging technology companies. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of CablesEdge Software Inc., makers of the market-leading Voice on the Go™ solution that provides voice access to email, contacts, scheduling, and other vertical market applications. Prior to selling the company in 2002, Mr. McLeod was the founder and CEO of Spectra Securities Software, which provided wealth management software to major global financial institutions. He is currently the President of JCM Ventures, an investment and consulting firm. Mr. McLeod holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant.
