CALGARY, Aug. 23 /CNW/ - VIQ Solutions Inc. ("VIQ" or the "Corporation") (TSX Venture: VQS) announced that Digital Voice Processing Pty Ltd ("Digital Voice Processing") has been appointed as the Regional Distributor of VIQ's products and services for sub-Saharan Africa. VIQ also announced the release of RecordIAB, an entirely new and innovative, fully enclosed recording appliance for the recording, playback, storage, and CD/DVD archiving of digital audio.
Digital Voice Processing is the latest to join VIQ's global distributor network, in line with VIQ's plan for international growth. Headquartered in Durban, South Africa, Digital Voice Processing has representatives throughout southern Africa.
Digital Voice Processing will continue to bring VIQ's digital recording solutions into new markets in the sub-Saharan region. Prior to being appointed a distributor, Digital Voice Processing was an authorized VIQ Solutions value- added reseller.

VIQ also announced the release of RecordIAB, an innovative 8-channel digital recording console. RecordIAB lets users record, playback, and store digital audio, all from a single compact unit. It comes with an intuitive, easy to use touchscreen and built-in CD/DVD burner for easy storage and backup. RecordIAB is ideally suited for entry-level customers requiring a feature-rich, simple to use product. RecordIAB grows with the operator, adding sophisticated features as the operator's skill set evolves.

Stentronics Limited, a certified VAR of VIQ, has purchased 15 of VIQ's new RecordIAB digital recording systems. The sale was made through Digital Voice Processing, VIQ's distributor in South Africa. Stentronics will install the systems as part of a project for the High Courts in Delta States, Nigeria, as part of their desire to upgrade court technology.
