is pleased to announce that it has released the latest version of its Encompass Remote Processing Control
("Encompass RPC") suite, an innovative digital media capture and management platform that offers secure
remote processing control and seamless integration with third-party digital video and content management
providers.
Encompass RPC provides the unprecedented ability to securely control multimedia recording in multiple
locations from any satellite location across the Internet, WAN or LAN. From an authorized workstation, an
operator can monitor and control audio and video acquisition in up to eight different locations, seamlessly
passing recording and annotation control between users as required. This remote processing control, backed
by real-time synchronization to multiple servers for complete data redundancy, allows large-scale and
complex installations to be managed efficiently by fewer resources.
Encompass RPC also provides agnostic high-definition video recording capabilities. Digital video signals
from most third-party video capture hardware, such as media processing appliances and video conferencing
systems, are captured by Encompass RPC and integrated as part of the recording. Multiple channels of
digital video can be captured simultaneously and low-latency playback of video can occur while recording
is taking place.
